I was born and raised in Minnesota, and although I’ve traveled widely and seriously considered other places, I chose to raise my children here. My grandmother was a powerful influence—she taught me to read before I ever stepped into a classroom, and thanks to her, I often say I’ve had three college educations.
The North Shore is my favorite place on Earth. I head there each year to write business and marketing plans, soak up the quiet, and reset.
I’ve raised three smart, independent kids I’m incredibly proud of. My husband is disabled—he’s been paralyzed on his left side since the age of 21—but that’s not what defines him. People often pity it or call it admirable, but honestly, it’s just a hard situation he handles. What stands out about him is his humor and generosity.
I take exercise seriously because I want to age well, and I still read 3–4 books a week (mostly history and biography). Between that and an ever-evolving real estate career, life stays full—and anything but dull.
We appreciate your talents, expertise, patience and especially your sense of humor getting our home sold! You were available to us every time we needed you and made us feel like we were the only clients you had. Thank you for everything.

I can't say enough positive things about Renee. I met her in '09 after having tried a couple of other realtors that didn't work out. She helped me through my first purchase, and now two other purchase and two sales. Her depth and breadth of experience are so incredibly helpful, her personality is a delight, and any time I hear of someone looking needing a realtor, I always suggest Renee, and she's helped several of my friends who are now happy homeowners.
